We bought a 2007 Camry (V6 6-speed automatic LE) about 6 months ago. It was our first Toyota (in fact, our first Japanese) as we'd been driving mainly European cars. We bought it because Toyota has such a great reputation for reliability and quality. I wish I could agree with that, but the car has been nothing but trouble for me. It had a series of mechanical problems, and the finishing quality is pretty bad
The biggest problem we've been experiencing is the transmission hiccup. The transmission behaves quite unexpectedly in many circumstances. For example:
(1) When the car is driven on a long uphill, the transmission hesitates and suddenly shifts down, causing an unexpected jolt (i.e., sudden jerky motion of the car).
(2) When the speed of the car is reduced slightly (i.e., my right foot off the accelerator) and then accelerated, it hesitates and suddenly shifts down, causing an unexpected jolt.
(3) When the car is making it a turn, it hesitates and cases an unexpected jolt.
Basically, the transmission is clearly acting up whenever it needs to adjust subtle speed change.
I, of course, took this car in for service a couple of times. At the first time, they did some reprogramming, which helped it a little. However, the problem was not solved. It is still acting up. When I took it in at the second time, they said there was nothing wrong and refused to service the car

This is quite outrageous. If this is "NORMAL" for CAMRY, Toyota makes nothing but junk.
I did some search and found that I am not alone with this problem. Can you share your experience if you experienced a similar problem? I would also appreciate technical advice from car experts/enthusiasts.
Thank you in advice.
