Anyone experiencing issues with their factory auto-start?
Over the past 2 weeks, I have a couple of instances where I have pressed the combination for the auto start (Lock, Unlock, Lock on my keyfob) and the car alarm recognized the actions, but did not auto-start.
I tried it 4 times this morning, and it did not start.
What do U mean "the car alarm recognized the actions"? I don't have auto start. Just drive slowly for the first 2 micro second then press it like I'm being chase by a mob. LOL j/k I just drive slow until I need to go fast.

Are you talking about the Remote Start? If so, you hit lock 3 times (holding the third time until the parking lights flash three times) then the car will start a second or two later.
You don't hit unlock in the sequence.

I could be wrong but i think the correct order to make the car start is to press lock two times with in three seconds and then press it a third time and hold it for at least three seconds and the car should start
lol i guess some one already figured it out while i was typing thanks "wireless"

I'll try this sequence, but I know my car was programed to start on Lock-Unlock-Lock.
I've been doing it that way since I bought it - and its only started to act up now.
I have the remote start and am very impressed by the range and its capabilities. I park in the "back 40" of the parking lot at work (so no one dings my baby and so I can see when the lights flash so I know it's started) and I am able to get it to start. Granted, I have to be standing in a very specific spot in the office to get it to start, but I have found that spot and it isn't a problem. I also have the smart key so I didn't want to carry TWO remotes so I wanted the factory system.
The key press combo is to press lock twice within 2 seconds and then to press and hold lock for 2 seconds. That is the combination. There isn't another.
Also remember that it will only start twice in a row and then you have to start it with the key to reset it.
Does any1 have the remote control start that don't require the key? I feel safer if it's a hidden chip with the code to start then a key. Does the OEM remote start require key too? I don't think the OEM have any option to let U know that your car alarm went off.
