07 Camry V6/6AT cold soak hesitiation

OK, so I've spent a couple of hours pouring through the forums. From what I can tell I4/5AT are complaining of throttle hesitation at various speeds and throttle positions. Whereas V6/6AT are reporting trans flare between shifts.

I don't fit either category. No trans flare and no I4/5AT. Yet I am experiencing a single significant/severe throttle tip-in hesitation only at moderate throttle and low speeds after a cold soak. And by cold soak I mean a cold soak, around and just below freezing.

I recently imported the car from Utah to Alberta, Canada. Wasn't an issue when I drove it in Utah, but now every morning I get the hesitation. Only happens once each morning and then it's gone for the day.

I can't find any of the TSB's that seem applicable. Although I don't know how to interpret some of them.

Perhaps one of the experts can help me out. I'd like to go to the local service department armed with some information.

Thanks

How about make a video clip to show your dealership? Some of the members here had done just that.

Gen6

1-2 minutes is plenty in 5-10C weather. Besides, I've never had a fuel injected car ever before with the same problem. This same problem 25 years ago with my carborators and it's no big deal. 1 out of the 15 fuel injected cars I've had makes it a problem...warm up time or not.
