Gen6 Advice on accident

Some women talking on the cell phone ran the red light and hit my baby going 45mph. The repair shop says there is about 7000 in damage to the body, they have to take it to a suspension shop to get that evaluated. I am worried my car will never ride the same or even worse not be safe. I hope they total it but I doubt that will happen. Front left wheel was bent inward.
Any advice out there?????

Did the woman have insurance?

That's a hit from a car going 45mph??? Wow, for a car going that fast, the damage isn't anything like I expected it to be.

Anyway, as long as you choose a good repair shop, your car should be completely safe to drive once repaired, even if it needs a bit of suspension work.

If the woman has insurance, enjoy the rental car and visit your car in the hospital so it won't get lonely.

P.S. the woman's insurance company will try and give you a crappy rental car (like a cobalt or accent)... but if you complain, they will bump you up to a mid-size. (Just tell them that you usually transport 5 adults/carpool, and the people won't fit in a smaller car.)

Good Luck, and hopefully everything will be okay.
