Are you really expecting 25-40HP for just headers?

Looking forward to seeing the results after you install the headers. Where did you get them?

25-40 + hp? Your only making 140hp stock.

That would be ~20-30% increase in power, from just a header. . . . . .I hate to rain on your parade, but that's not gonna happen.

I predict ~10hp gain (maybe), and a noticeable loss of low end torque. On a plus side, it looks well constructed and the header flange is nice and thick.

My apologies, 158hp. . . .but my point still stands, your not going to see 25-40+ hp from just a header and a downpipe.

And you cant just "add" hp like you did:

Intake (15hp) + Header (10hp) + Down Pipe (15hp). I'd say with all of those together you'd be looking at about a 15hp bump, TOTAL, not the 40hp jump you get by "adding" them all together.

Hell, 15hp is still a 10% increase in power, which is really good for just bolt-ons. Again, though, you're going to lose some low end torque with the header, and to be honest, unless you are going for a top speed run, torque is what you want "on the street", horsepower is meaningless (relatively speaking).

^^ to the upper post.

I saw 2 different dynos proving that the K&N SRI provided 14hp. Of course the buttdyno doesn't prove jack, but if you do a search online, the dynos to prove this increase is there.

btw, i like your GTO info. Post up pics if u get the chance!
