While we are at other than Magnaflow mufflers: Anybody experienced a Dynomax Turbo, Superflo, or Thrush or even a Cherry Bomb on a new Camry? Looks like everybody now looks to get the Magnaflow Race series (which I also like), but they do simulate more the deep rumble of muscle cars...well, camry's are not muscle but closer to Turbo imports (well, except camry's and turbo is still very seldom). So, would one of the above sound more like a Turbo Camry or too much ricey?

whoa whoa... you're clashing a lot of car genre's...
Let's split this... First... FI's and NA's... they're going sound different because FI'd cars will have at least 3" piping
Second, V6 and I4's will also have different exhaust tones as well due to the engine size..
Seeing as tho urs is a V6... you shouldn't worry about being ricey... V6's have a deeper tone but less of the V8 rumble

Yeah, I probably clash something here...not even sure what you mean with FI's and NA's, I can only guess? Sorry for that. I am no exhaust expert and simply try to read up about things a lot before I decide. To your 3" comment, I simply looked under my car and found that the main pipe is about 2.5 (or 2.25) and split in the same diameter w/o narrowing down. Only later it is narrowed down right in front of the muffler inlet to something what looks like 1.75 or 2.00 inlet.
Well, I sure hope and expect that the V6 should sound okay but it's by no means a large displacement, low rpm engine. Therefore, my thought on the idea not to simulate the rumble of such engines.

fi = forced induction (turbo or supercharger)
na = naturally aspirated.
both cater to how the engine gets their air.
think of FI as if your engine was slapped on with a vacuum cleaner to suck in a lot of air (with the proper filtration etc etc et of course )

Yes, that was what I guessed and I am well aware what we can and can not have for our Camry's in that regard. Thanks anyway. Just wondering what other than magnaflow type sound (again, I actually like that sound) is out their, which is maybe a more sporty/turbo tone...different. I am also very careful with the look, i.e. it got to be tucked nicely underneath my body kit and only the tip(s) visible.
I had 2 Magnaflow's and 1 Apexi on my Camry. Both of the Magnaflow's sounded low and deep but the Apexi had a different tone to it. Although the Apexi may look like a fart can, it still got deep around 2K RPM and then sounded more aggressive after that.

yea... only reason for an exhaust being rice on a V6 would be looks... not sound
