this may have been covered before but I couldnt find a thread about it and plus I only searched twice searched uunder "gen6 A/C" and "gen6 air conditioning"
but anyways, i want to hear everyone's opinion about their A/C, about if its good or not cause to me, I think my A/C is weak and i was wondering if there is a way to make it better? I came from a 03' Jag X-Type and the A/C in that was great, got cool fast and stayed cold while the 07 Camry seemed like it took a bit too long and doesnt stay cool or not for a while but it does get hot fast ill give it that, any ideas? lol living in tx, i really dont need the heater
sorry this maybe just a simple trip to the dealer or a A/C maint. shop but i dont know anything about it, figured I'd ask here first

Toyotas arn't know for having strong AC's. I start with fresh air while the interior is HOT, then switch to recirculate when it starts to cool. I also used the Auto start feature to help when it got really hot last summer. I hated the idea of wasting gas, but it really helped.

yeah my car is tinted, jux 35 all around from factory and i got ash leather too
it was better in my Jag, jux no tint, blk leather seats and the car was like charcoal grey color and it was fine in that car, the A/C was nice n good
but if there isnt anything I can really do then i guess i can deal with it lol just thought i'd ask but i do do the whole rolling the windows down to let it circulate while the A/C is on and then roll the windows back up, jux wanted my A/C to be powerful, even at full blast (which the camry doesnt)
thnks for ur input guys!

You owner's manual does explain that the A/C takes some time to get cold.
sorry, i acknowledge the fact that I should be reading my owner's manual but just havent really got the time to sit down and read it, this just took me like 2 minutes and then off to projects and portfolios (im a art major-graphic/advertising design) so i mostly spend my days on projects after projects after projects
i dont know what i can tell you about my A/C output temp vs ambient temp
i.e.--my car says its like 88 degrees outside and i usually turn the notch up to the 2nd or 3rd level, still takes a while for it to cool down but it doesnt get cold?
i might just be really making it harder for myself, just thought id explain, go easy on my TRD VVTi
