Gen5 Help with SE Headlight hunt

Hello everyone,

This is a pre-picture thread...er...thread. I'm currently working on some small mods to my car, standard stuff, and I'll make a post after I get my wheels in. In the mean time I would like your help. I have Black 2002 Camry LE with chrome headlights, I'm looking into swapping those for SE headlights with the black housing. I've been looking around and after getting a price quote from my local Toyota Parts Department (Burt Toyota of Denver) of 270ish dollars PER headlight I've turned to the internet. There are several websites such as car-stuff dot com and such which seem semi reputable but the prices oscillate greatly and I don't know which one to trust. I am also considering visiting some car junk yards around Denver to see if I can score a couple of headlights from there.

So, finally, my request is do you guys know of a good/cheap place to get the SE headlights for my car and if the junk/scrap yards are the cheapest is there anything I need to know when grabbing the lights from a junked car, such as any fasteners or extra wiring harneses or anything else?

I am somewhat mechanically capable so I will probably replace the lights myself, so tips on adjustment are welcome.

ALSO, before I forget, big shout out to steveyhustle for hooking me up with his old set of Eibach springs, thanks a lot. I finally installed them and like them a lot, I will post pictures later.

Regards,
-Bumbo

P.S. Anyone live in Denver or Denver area?

I have a set of SE headlights, but i'm still not sure if i want to part withthem yet. I was looking at my car with them installed (pics) and i might go back to them.

As far as junkyard, just make sure all the mounting tabs are there and not broken, you can use the same wiring harness you have now just pop the bulbs into the new housing. and you can use the nuts/bolts from your current lights to put them on.

Yes, I have, thank you for asking.
I've been screwed over one too many times on Ebay so I'm trying to stay away from it. I was hoping you guys might know some reputable websites that you have dealt with and would recommend.
