Why put high temp paint on a stainless header when it's just going to peel off/or be covered up anyways?

Are you finished with the installation?

He was trying to say it's High-temp silicone which melts and sticks with that wrap on? HE didn't finish the install because the end of the header doesn't fit. So he HAS to take the header to the shop to work on a custom fit? He then had to re-install all the stock parts before driving back to the shop, making it a very long night for him..

hope i got that right lol..
