Gen5 need help with tires

Hi, i have a 2006 camry LE that came with steelies and hubs and upgraded to some 18 chromes, OEM lip kit, tint.. all the basics. i am wanting to go for the stock look so i bought these alloy rims. the alloys came off an avalon and i did some searches and found out its tire size was 215/55/17 while most camrys with 17 in rims use 215/50/17. i don't know jack about tire size and need help in deciding which size i should use. i would assume that the 215/50/17 would be ok? also, i saw some cheap tires and tried to search for reviews but found next to nothing, anyone have any experiences with these rims: NEXON N3000 and diamondback TR968 (both are about 280 shipped on ebay). any input will help, thanks.

ps, i havent been back to this site in a while and recently caught up on some reading on this forum and TRD, you crack me up! lol
