actually sir its chrome. (i think not being a smart A^^) but i got mine from a good friend for a cheapey. and it looks good too!
The OEM tip is chrome as well. No need to worry about it rusting or looking like ass after a few months of use. Spend the money and go with OEM, you won't regret it.
