If you want quiet, keep the stock piping and add an oval muffler with multiple chambers (not straight through design). And keep the resonator on.

Well if you're going to get bigger piping, the car will be louder than stock. If that's the route you're gonna take, put a resonator on (the longer it is the quieter it should be) and get one of those oval mufflers.

Look for mufflers with baffles/chambers and probably filled with fiberglass etc. That all causes the exhaust to be quieter if done right.

What kind of sound are you looking for? If you want low, deep, and fairly quiet, Magnaflows are what you're looking for.

Would not be my first choice for a real quiet setup, magnaflows (except XL Turbo) are straight-through designs, which are not to be known that quiet.

Is this for a Gen6? The Borla setup is very quiet but has a nice sound.

while we were on the aero exhaust discussion i stumbled upon this.. looks like a series muffler setup that still helps the breathing but also dulls down the noise as compared to a fart can

dont let the name fool you, hahah

His title says Gen5.

Maybe a Walker® Quiet-Flow3® Mufflers. Supposedly as quiet as OE-style but better flow. Or something similar in design.

Sorry, didn't see the Gen5 at the top. I still think a Borla is the way to go. You can just purchase the muffler and have it installed locally.
