Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
alright so a question for all you guys out there, so im looking to upgrade my exhaust to 2 1/4" and a new muffler. applications for catbacks is limited too trd and jic so i have seen.
i dont want the fart can. i dont want a raspy sound. i want a veeeery quiet almost stock sound.
truuue.
but i have my ecu setup for 2 1/4" piping since i just had it modified to help my engne breathe easier cus i have intake and header on my car. so i changed the fuel ratios etc...so any more ideas?
Well if you're going to get bigger piping, the car will be louder than stock. If that's the route you're gonna take, put a resonator on (the longer it is the quieter it should be) and get one of those oval mufflers.
its for a gen 5 and its a 4 banger. ive heard some stuff about borla too the mufflers look stock and it has a nice loow sound to it. maybe this is the way to go then?
while we were on the aero exhaust discussion i stumbled upon this.. looks like a series muffler setup that still helps the breathing but also dulls down the noise as compared to a fart can
