Toyota in trouble...yet again.

Funny, they'd initiate a recall on a window, but not on a flare (V6) or hesitation (I4).

Probably because a smashed window can harm someone and they do have a fix...

Oh, btw, Chrysler just also had a recall yesterday.

Yea, but window bolts are cheaper than transmissions

theres already been an accident and a bunch of injuries because of the window problem. If it caused a serious accident toyota would get sued big time, thats why theyre more worried about that than a tranny flare.

This is the type of sh*t i would expect from ford or gmc not yota. I really hope they get their shi*t back together soon.

This defect's pretty old, they're finally fixing it.... Generally, the window just falls off the track.

If it bothers you that much, sell your Toyota and buy something else.

There are more vehicles than just toyota corollas that have this problem. Jeep cherokkes have the window fall down from bad window regs. VW golfs have an updated window clip but no recall for the same problem. at least toyota is taking care of the problem like they usually always do.

143 cases out of 539,500 cars. Big deal. As stated above, at least Toyota is fixing it.

What does the Corolla/Matrix recall have to do with the Gen 5 & 6 Camry?

Toyota is NOT in trouble, yet again...
