Gen5 Has anyone put Gen5.5 SE V6 (solora rims) on a Gen5 LE?

I was wondering since the specs are the same as the is300 rims. 17x7 +50mm would the stock tire size 215/55/17 Fit an a Gen5 Le without rubbing? Since the suspension on the 5.5 SE are different than the Gen5LE. Or should I just stick to 215/50/17 as some people have with those wheel specs. I don't plan to drop or anything.

suspension isn't that much different between the se and le, not enough that there should be a problem with rubbing with the se rims.

well if they're the same specs as the rims you have on now, there should be no problem at all.

i'd use 215/50/17 -- if you got 18's or 19's then i'd do 225/45/18 ; 225/40/19's. I think all of these match up to oem circumference just so that the spedo is not off too much.

i did 225/50/17 on my SE wheels. I like a little more width on my tires, gives it that sporty yet still low profile look.

Whats the offset on the Gen6 SE wheels? +40? I heard that going above 215 would rub with the is300 rims cause they're +50. I really like having 215/55 cause I think it would be a significant difference than what I'm running now. 215/45

Gellenole do you have pics of your setup before your drop? I kinda want to see that 215/50 would look like w/o a drop.

Well I found a golf side lump on one of my tires today..... So I guess its time to change them all to something I like. I still wonder if I should go with 215/50/17 or 215/55/17?? Anyone?

i had is300 rims on my es300,, i had to put a 1/8 spacer in the rear, to clear the 215/50 r 17's , but not when i had z rated tires.

go witha 50 series to get the speedo right

Speedo isn't really a issue for me since even with stock tires they're just as off. What gen was your ES300?
