Gen6 All-Weather floor mats recall

Does anybody know the latest on this? I could use a new floor mat since mine's wearing out.

I received the recall notice in the mail approximately 2 months ago. At my last oil change, I had them replace mine. Call your dealer first, they may have to order them.

I purchased a set about 3 weeks ago for mine.
And yes they did have to order them in.
You would think that with the Camry being the biggest volume "car" on their lot they would have a set or 2 in stock

Yeah, I would just contact the dealer. Quick phone call should answer that

Is it possible for you to take 1-2 pictures for your new all-weather mats? I want to see how it looks like. I also bought one 1 month ago on ebay, and I am not sure that mats is recall one or new one.

Thanks

I will try my best to remember to do it tonight when I get home, more then likely it will be tomorrow if you still need it.
But from I have read the only difference between the recalled and the new ones are they are thinner by the gas pedal on the driver side to avoid getting caught up with the accelerator.
But if at the end of the day when I am heading home if you still need me to I will try and remember.

Btw my building is no where near the lot my car is parked in and I just got off lunch or I would do it sooner

Is your look like this? Mine looks the same but mine has a warming sign saying Do not put it on top of existing carpet (on the driver side one).

Yep, I think I still have the tag from when I clipped it off inside.
The tag was connected through the hole for your carpet hooks.
The onyl difference between ours and the originals is it was thinker on the driver side mat in the top right hand corner before.
At least I think that is what I read, don't quote me on that.

I really like the mats though, spendy but worth it, heck we still have snow on the ground here in places.
That and I used the dealer paper mats for the first 10 days I owned my car before I got my mats (week before I decided to get them)

The original mats that comes with Camry is $199 as a dealer option. I just waive that off and save myself $199. Then I spend some $60 to buy this all-weather mats. If anyone use the all-weather mats, the original mats has no use anyway because you can't put the all-weather mats on top, so why pay for that?

I don't even know why you think it would be a good idea to put all weather mats on top of the carpet mats. I personally switch them out during the summer. Use the all weather mats in the winter and put the carpet mats in during the summer. I still wont spend the money for Toyota ones though

I kept my 'old' ones.
I saw no problems with them one bit.
They work fine so why swap them out?

I thought this was because people put them on top of their carpeted mats.
Why would anyone actually do that in the first place.
That is silly.

I packed my original carpet ones away for resale of the car someday.
Keep them looking brand new.
I use my All Weather Mats all year round. They are soft and comfortable even in bare feet.

If I didn't get these with one of my 'Protection Packages' when I bought the car then I would have bought the Floor liners.
The ones from www.mats.com. (WeatherTech Floor Liners)
Those simply are thee best ones I have ever seen for ANY vehicle.

This is the all-weather mats for Canadian Camry. It is softer and cover more area. But the down side is it is harder to clean with those honey cone. I like the American one which is much easier to clean. I use my all-weather mats all year round.

By the way, when I buy my car Camry, dealer charge me $199 which is a dealer's port installation, that means dealer will put the new floor mats in when the car arrive at dealer's location. I waive that off. I later ask the same dealer parts department how much is the same floor mats, the answer is $120. Why should I pay more at the first place? Will that cost $80 for the sales guy put them in?

Sorry to say...those Canadian Mats...Suck!

I like the American ones better too. Straight Lines that are like you say...easier to clean.

Still, the Floor Liners from WeatherTech are SUPREME!
