Gen6 Headlight and Tire Alignment Questions

1) if I remove my headlights from my chassis, and when I attach it back on, will this cause the headlight aim to go off? Like will I need to readjust the headlights so the beams line up straight?

2) My question is on whether or not an alignment is needed every time you take off your wheels whether to change rims or for whatever reason. Or do I only need to realign if i'm trying to attach different rims, as in you need to align for every rim/tire change?

1. Unless you're banging the headlights around when you take them off, there should be no reason the aim will be changed.

2. if you had to get an alignment every time you took the wheels off, that'd get very expensive! anytime you change anything on the suspension (lowering springs, struts, etc), you should get an alignment. i would only suggest getting an alignment when getting new rims/tire just because it prevents a pre-existing alignment problem from destroying your new tires. i think as long as the new wheels/tires are very close to the OEM diameter, an alignment won't be necessary every time, though.

You shouldn't need to adjust the headlamps if you reinstall them properly and don't mess with the adjusters.

Alignments are for the steering and suspension, not the tires. Removing the wheels and tires will not alter any steering or suspension settings.
