Gen6 Side Airbag Cover Loose

So my passenger was riding in my Camry yesterday and he got a little ecstatic about his conversation and his hands accidentally hit the side airbag on the right side and the cover for it came off.

I tried to put it back but it appears very very loose compared to the left side. I know you don't' want the cover to be stuck in there but at the same time I don't want it to keep dropping every time someone touches it.

is this another one of those common Camry cosmetic quirks that starts happening over time to people? I'll prob stop by a dealership when I have time to see if they can fix it?

Gen6

I haven't had the Camry long enough for the same thing to occur, but I'm glad to know the bag didn't fire .

Sorry I can't tell you more, but I'd be headed to the dealer, too. Let us know what they say.

The retaining clips might have broken or spread apart.

The dealer can easily fix it or replace it.
