Yep, I love those Google satellite views!

And, yes, I'm "an hour away from the coast." Also, about "an hour away from the Cascade mountains." So, it doesn't take much to just "jump into the car, and REALLY get away."

the 17-55 f2.8 is a good lens! nothing beats a great aperture and high iq of as lens

i understand about the weather too! im a bit up north (vancouver) and we get a lot of rains as well, like 6 or so months. its been sunny for the weekend though
