Question JBL Stereo Failure (with Nav)

Wife and I hopped in the 07 V6 Camry after some grocery shopping tonight and the stereo graced us with straight treble. Sound seems to be coming just out of the dash speakers, and when i fade it all the way to the rear, I can just barely hear anything. Tried an Ipod on Aux, FM and AM, but they all sound sucky! There is ZERO bass or midrange, they are all affected with the tin can sound. I turned off the car and cycled the accessory on and off multiple times, then restarted. Basically, tried every ignition mode that operates the stereo, and that didn't change it.

I've searched this forum and others, and google, but can't find anyone with this issue. Just baaaarely has some warranty left for the 3/36. So disgusted - just got it out for other TSB repairs. I do note a slight pop sound from the rear speaks as i cycle on the accessory and the stereo comes active, but doesn't happen if i just simply turn the stereo off and back on. This is followed by a whining tone that quickly goes up until i can't hear it anymore. It sounds like the amp has gone out. Go JBL! Hoping it's just a wire loose, but doesn't seem to be the case.

Any thoughts on what might be the affliction?

Let the dealer troubleshoot and fix it, if it's in warranty.
