I am fortunate enugh never to have stripped a plug thread - a combination of luck i think, and also i am the ONLY person who i ever let change the plugs on my engines. Soe simple rules i always followed, the plug ought to go in easily with little force at all. I always use my hands on the socket extension, never a wrench, until you are sure the threads are in right. If you feel any resistance at all, stop, take the plug out, start again! Also always always use anti sieze compound, doing this would probably prevent the majority of all stripped plugs.
