I went to the website of a Toyota dealer near my gfs and they had this same strut but listed under the 2007 Camry. Would it also fit gen6?

No, it will not fit Gen6. Trademotion.com still haven't update their website since I contacted them last year only to find out it is for Camry 2002-2006 only.

Deceiving considering when you choose a 2007 Camry, it shows up.

Wow, we are sensitive (and someone blames Red to be sensitive LOL to the other thread). Anyway, kind of looks like a normal strut bar to me...except the hold down points: how much torque can it really sustain with one holding point on each side? But looks nice in red.

^^ nah i'm joking around -- he usually has nothing good to say. It's not like a knock-off strut bar or anything, that's how the official TRD one looks like. I heard the bar should be tightened wrist tight, but if I'm wrong i'll know by the end of the day.

No problem - I will be guilty of putting a knock off on just for the looks. I am no racer, so it's okay with or without it.
