On Line Catalogs

Here's my Andy Rooney gripe of the day. It seems that all the on-line Toyota dealers use the same basic parts search engine. For the Camry, it hasn't been maintained in some time, at least with respect to the mechanical catalog. 2007 and up Camry is not even listed in the mechanical cat. Much of the stuff is listed in the collision catalog, but then it is incomplete. Anyone here in the industry have a good explanation why they haven't managed to keep these things up to date? Seems like it would be in their financial interest to at least keep it close.

My reply won't help, but I've noticed the same thing. It's sad because there are online sellers for other makes that do a much better job than any of the online Toyota parts pedelers.

I've searched thru nearly 10 or more online Toyota parts places(all of them dealers) and the selection, screen navigation, etc. is not very impressive, irregardless of the year.

With as many cars as they have on the road, it makes no sense.
