This question is just a general question doesnt really matter what dealer it is i just happen to work at a toyota dealer. Anyways my question is do people have no respect or common scense. It seems like at least once a day i have a customer bring there dog with them when they come in to get service done and once there car is checked in the take there dog and start walking around the show floor or they want to go sit in the waiting are with there dog. Does anyone else see this as strange that people would think this is okay. Second the other day a had a lady pull into our service aisle which is inside the building and she gets out of her car smoking INSIDE our dealer! Is this not ridiculous for people to act like that. maybe its just me. sorry to go on i just had to get a second opinion
LOL and it makes me wonder why i dont check my spelling!

Can't stand that behavior either...but has nothing to do with the dealer. They do that in restaurants, grocery stores, public transportation....etc etc. Just unconsidered behavior.
I hear ya..
A friend of mine.. well, actually, not my friend, I just happened to know her.
She brought her Yorkshire Treeier into restaurant when everytime we went out for dinner... I have no idea what the hell was she thinking...
im glad that other agree with me i was starting to think i was the crazy one.
It's all relative - consider yourself lucky to not have to stay in China for long - urinating in front of you on the sidewalks is considered normal, kids taking a dump on the curb is considered necessary, sometimes you got to jump not to see spit land on your shoes, and yeah, smoking like hell everywhere in your face is not even recognized...but sometimes I just laugh seeing a girl in her rain trenched silk PJ on the street rushing to the grocery store.
China still developing.. give them some time and they will turn out better
However, for the country that has well developed and well educated, about 95% knows that what to do and what not to do.. I guess the rest of 5%... maybe they are "Unique"??

I would of just told them out of courtesy to not bring their pet and as a state law (where ever you might be), its illegal to smoke inside. It may only apply to restaurants or something but dont see why it shouldnt to dealers. If anything, put up a sign on the door.

we usually do just tell them pets are not allowed and yes smoking indoors is illegal in minnesota. As far as signs go i would LOVE to put some on the doors however the owners will not allow it! go figure.

I take my pup in..but i carry him..and everyone there loves him. they don't mind him at all. Others bring their bigger dogs in and no one seems to mind.
As long as they don't make a mess or start barking and disturbing people.....who really cares?
My mother is a nurse and when i go pick her up i take the pup in with me..brights up the patients day....
Smoking..on the other hand..is just rude. And illegal here in any public places.
I've never woundered.........even in elementary school. I've wandered and wondered a few times though. Was wounded once also.
Take those dogs and shove them.................
Makes me wonder if your wandering caused you to be wounded?

If you're carrying the dog its fine. But if you have the dog roaming around, there are customers who may be scared of them (no matter how small or big they are) and can also be allergic to dogs.
I doubt they allow dogs in a hospital do to potential bacteria and stuff.

that's true, but if it's on a leash should be fine.
But out of courtsy, you should ask the service people if it's ok first.
As far as the hosp. he goes in with me everytime i pick her up, no one has stopped me yet.
he's hypoallergetic as well (doesn't have fur..it's hair).
