5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I've looked through some thread and found 245/35/19 to be way more common. Hardly ever came across 245/40/19 (I want the extra tire to fill the wheel well)
Also, most offsets I've seen are larger than 35. With a 35 offset, that brings the rim/wheel further out.
you will not rub. I am a lot more knowleadgeable in lowered vehicles however, but I'm positive you won't rub. If nething, I'm sure moky or eppy can chime in.

Well, here is the spec. of your wheel
HR2 19x8.5 5x114.3 +35 offset.
So yes 245-35-19 will fit. Here is the breakdown of the overall diameter.
215-60-16 = 26.16 inches of stock tires.
235-35-19 = 25.48 It's on your car now.
245-35-19 = 25.75 You should be ok with this eventhough your offset is +35. 245-40-19 = 26.72 It will rub because the width of the tire AND +35 offset.
235-45-19 = 27.33 Definately will rub. So don't go with 45 profile.
Here is my old rims diameter for your reference.
245-35-20 = 26.75 This is my old 20x8.5 +38 that it rubbed after lowered springs.
Hope that help.
Personally, I think if you do rub, it will be in the rear when you have passengers or if you have a sound system in the trunk. Here are pics of a guy with 255/40/19 without a drop. But as you know, the TRD is only a mild drop and it looks like you have room for it. If you do rub, I'm sure a simple fender rolling will solve the problem. But yeah, you never know till you go for it.
