2002-2006 Camry V6 Owners: What fuel do you guys use?

I own a 2002 Camry LE V6 (made in Japan) and I have been running Premium grade fuel since day 1. Toyota recommends using Premium fuel. With the gas prices on the rise, I am considering running Regular Unleaded instead.

What is your take on this: Should I stick with Premium or switch to Regular?

Always and only used Regular unleaded on all my cars. Camry included...waste of money for premium. I also only use Sunoco gas when possible. The odd time (once a year maybe) i run a tank of Ultra94(premium) though it, probably no gains and a waste, but whatever.

Thanks for the info. I been running Esso gas and have recently switched to Shell. Guess I will try Regular gas and see how it goes.

Didn't even realize you were in Toronto. lol. The Camry's don't need premium gas..just regular is fine. Will save you a ton too!

I heard Shell isn't that great, but i also heard Esso isn't. Stick to a brand you like..That's what i do.

i've heard bad things about all of them. I have always used Sunoco though, it is generally a bit more expensive (1 or 2 cents/L) But i'm also biased to them, because i'm a Nascar fan..and they use Sunoco..

all of the brand names are good though...Petro, Sunoco, Esso, Shell...stick to them and shouldn't have any problems.

Thanks for the tip. I will try Regular gas for my next tank and save 12 cents/litre right there

Yea and Sunoco's Ultra 94 is 15 cents/litre extra.

Back in 2002 when I got my Camry, I paid 69.9 cents/litre. My first car, the gas price was 29.9 cents/litre and people complained about it being too high. THOSE WERE THE DAYS
