Electrical problem

does anyone have a schematic of the throttle system?

Here's what is going on. The only thing that worked in the car was the door dingy thing the alarm and a few lights. so i took the battery out and had autozone test it. It was bad. so i put the new one in and only things that come on with no key work. like the lights horn and stuff. the radio and fan didnt work. So I found that the 100 amp fuseable link has blown. i hope this doesn't happen to anyone here because I had to take the fuse box apart to get to the screws to take it out. So I get that changed now everything works the car starts and everything except the radio doesn't turn on and when you step on the throttle the engine doesn't rev. The clock cig lighter and everything else works. So I was looking for the throttle cable on the throttle body to move it manually and realized it was all electrical. So I called it a day. I have the haynes manual and it if of no use. anyone have any ideas or have that schematic they could scan for me?

Sorry, all the info I have is on the Gen 6. I suspect yours is a Gen 5, and there are others more knowledgeable for that version. There are unique differences as the years progress. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

It says 2003 but should be 2002 instead.

Those manuals are great. I changed the 10A ETCS fuse and it started to rev then i changed the fuse on the back of the radio and that works too. At least this portion of the fix was easy once I had the right manuals. This forum doesn't have rep?

I am glad you have it working.
The deep question is, what took out the 100 amp fuse and the others?

Check the wiring under the hood for pinches or chafing, if the cause isn't known. If nothing else the look might make you rest easier. Great job, again WELCOME!!!!!!

it was the bad battery. when i got there it was 12.5 volts but as soon as you turned the key to acc it drops to 6 volts which would cause the current to double according to ohms law.
