The XLE Glove Box

Hi all. New member here.

I just changed the cabin airfilter in my 2007 XLE. Piece of cake and it was filthy. BUT when I went to puch the glove box back in I noticed that the plunger (closer) on the right side had the plunger that make the glove box close smoothly was not attached any more. The end opposite th glove box end was not attached to the car. I noticed a hole in the wall and it fits in there. How do I reattach it????

Thanks in advance for any advice.

The XLE Glove Box

Thanks for the reply Drew

I went down to take a picture or two. I will post them. When I opened the glove box and took the pictures, one picture showed a part which looked like it was what the piston attached to. I removed the piston from the glove box and sure enough it slipped over the short rod in the picture. I then hooked the other end back to the glove box. Wha La. Fixed.

Thanks again Drew.
