First Mod

My new Camry should be in this week and I was thinking about mods. What mod did you guys first do to your Camrys?

upgraded sound system
tint
HIDs

all 3 are relatively inexpensive and easy to do

TRD springs
Rims
debadged

...all at the same time



(In my case items like rear spoiler, upgraded audio, door sills, nav, sport pedals, security, remote, keyless, fogs, wood trim etc are not mod's - they came with the car as ordered :-))

start with blackin out ur headlights.

all u need is an oven, sand paper, and 2 cans of spray paint... ( primer & black glossy)

$50 K&N air filter drop into your airbox

HIDS? $150-$300

Lowering Springs: TRD's $200ish give or take 10-30 bucks

Rims? $500+ plus tires.. ($100 a piece)

Short Ram / Cold Air Intake kit : $200-$300

Exhaust- Catback ($400+) Axle Back- +300 price depends on I4 or V6..
----

TINTS~ $150-$300 good luck! <-- necessary~

My first mod was replacing the stock lights with 7000K Nokya's, but then quickly swapped them out with Xtreme 5000K HID's.

My first mod was windows tinted.

2. Wheels and tires - Complete
3. Drop - next on list

Pick what you think looks best done to cars and fits within your budget. I am eventually going to get my car dropped but I think it looks really good with tint and wheels. The Mrs. is putting a hault on mods for a while but I am content until it's dropped!

Some good info here. Im definitely thinking about doing tint, blacking out the headlights and putting in the K&N air filter and the cold air intake.

If you're going to black out your headlight, you might as well do a retrofit/HIDs while you're at it
