Hey guys,

I wanted to ask if any of you whom have the JBL upgrade in their Camry's, ever successfully upgraded their stock JBL amp.

I wanted to upgrade my amp that powers the stock mids and highs with a higher wattage amp (Eclipse).

I went to the local stereo shop here and they ran into some issues. They tried to bypass the stock JBL amp but found that the stock JBL amp controls the stock 6 disk changer. In other words without the stock amp the stereo will not work.

Well they tried installng two LOCs but that did not work. This resulted in a worse than stock sound.

Any advise on this issue will be greatly appreciated.

By any chance do any of you have a diagram for the wiring?
