Door panel restoration

My son bit a chunk out of my wife's 2007 Camry Hybrid rear door panel, towards the top near the window. It looks awful. Does anyone know of a company that restores these, or where I can get a replacement for less than the OEM price of ~ $400??

from the look of the pictures you may be able to get it repaired.

look up your local upholstery shops and tell them what vehicle you have and what the problem is. the shop may want to see the damage and if they are good upholstery shop they will have samples of the color and material to repair.

So, your son threw a temper tantrum and locked his K9's into the door . Ouch. I would be more worry about him than these two little holes. No way I would spend $400 for these ...as of the looks of it, it will not be the last blemish on your car - as mentioned, ask an upholstery shop to cover it.

I just have to ask how this happened. If he is young enough to be chewing on things like this, he is likely young enough to be belted into a car seat of appropriate size. If he is older than that, he should have been belted into the car with seat belts. If he could get into a position to chew on the door, then perhaps he was left unattended in the mall parking lot?

this isnt a parenting forum, i wouldnt just start assuming that this guy is a bad parent and accuse them of doing something like leaving their kid unattended in a mall parking lot.

he asked for some help with upholstery, he got his answer.. no other comments are needed
