5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Has anyone here painted their headlights to match their color of their car? I don't mean like a flat black with a black Camry. I mean with the actual color matched (by the paint code) the same as their car?
you mean like how ferrari does it?
i've seen honda fits with this kind of a headlight.
Yeah like the Ferrari's. I'm at a crossroads right now. I have my color 1F7 in front of me right now (and clear to go with it) and a flat black also. I keep going back and forth as to wich to use. I have my headlights apart, masked and 2 coats of the plastic primer on them. And I just can't make up my mind. I have about 30 minutes before I need to choose. Decisions decisions...
you can always change it black if you dont like it

I went with the color match silver. 2 coats of color, waiting for the 1st coat of clear to tack up and then 1 more final coat of clear. I need to get it all back together tomorrow morning so I can go get my rims put on in the afternoon. Gonna be a busy morning because I also need to install my HID heads & fogs while I have everything apart. The K&N setup showed up today also but I think that will have to wait for another day.
