07 SE and brake sounds when starting up

I've been noticing lately, if the car has been sitting in semi cold weather, and I start her up and get driving, when I step on the brake they make a slightly spongy type of sound, but it goes away after applying the brakes about 5-10 times, is this normal at all?

could it be condensation or something? has anyone else experienced this?

whats a spongy sound?

i experience squeaking noises when its at a cold start, but then it goes away in like a minute or two <--thats normal.......i think

There are TSBs for front brake and rear brake noise.

but probably not for spongy sounds.

Maybe a ABS self-checking noice ...
