5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I bit the bullet and bought a 6000K H11 HID kit off of eBay. This kit is 100% plug and play. very nice connections with rubber seals at all connector points. The lamp itself is sealed, the ballast has a nice mounting plate, etc. The kit was packaged perfectly, I got it in about 24 hours. I am truely shocked. The kit works GREAT!! I paid $100. The cutoff points are exactly like my oeM projector beams, and I dont blind other drivers. Light output is very clean and white (no blue tint).
I am so impressed with this kit, i just cant get over it.
eBay seller ID is HIDNY...and no, its not me, I'm just very impressed with them, I have to give props.
I am pretty much speechless. I will add pics later. I'm on daddy duty with the baby, so once I get a moment, I'll take a good picture of my lights for you.
I am truely impressed...

that kit looks just like any other kit, the new hid kits comes in thinner ballasts you have a gen 6 with projectors....need i say anymore about the cutoff?
I'm glad your happy with the results. Once you get a chance, would you please post pictures with the car aiming at a wall/garage door? I would like to see the cutoff.
I'm glad you live 3000 miles away so you won't blind me with your half-assed HID install.
since you brought it up...
a) You wouldn't be blinded more with my HID's than any other.
b) Its not a half-assed install, it was a lets see how this works and then i'll button everything up when I have more time.

As long as you fix the squirrel spotter (flap inside the projector that gets pushed down and sealed), then the eBay kit won't be any more blinding then the $450 XenonDepot kit.
I'm not surprised you like your eBay kit, I had one in my other car and it was great as well, the only thing about them is that they don't include relay harnesses, so over time you may burn/short out your wiring harness, and the ballasts/bulbs generally don't last as long as higher quality kits.
