Gen6 General lamp & relay questions...

Sup guys, I got LED replacements for just about every bulb in my car from this place...

http://www.superbrightleds.com/tail-brake-turn.html

Everything works and looks awesome except for some blinker issues. I know LED's cause hyperflashing, but the site above sells special relays that fix the problem. So I need to know where exactly the flasher relay is in the fuze box and what the relay specs are.

I have searched everywhere short of buying the service manual and would appreciate any info you have.

Also, how the heck do you get to the front marker/turn light harness to replace the bulb? Up through the bottom? I can't do it through the hood b/c there's a metal plate blocking it on both sides.

Thanks for the help!!

Oh yeah, 1 more question... How do you replace the rear reading lamps? I have the moonroof, so they're the style placed further back toward the rear window.

Thanks again!

Pull the fender liners back to get to the turn signal bulbs.

Where at in STL are you? I could give you a hand if you need.

Holy crap! They put it alll the way up there? I better take some ibuprofen before mangling myself getting to it.

I live in the frontenac area near lindberg & clayton rd. I'ma go out and try to locate the relay when it stops raining. I'll let you know if I need help. Thank you very much for the info/offer!

Also, any thoughts on how to remove the covers/bulbs from the rear reading lamps?

Thanks!

How about I give you a book of CDMA/GSM cell phone network and you try to fix/enhance the cell phone coverage?

Okay, I finally got the new relay installed. That took a while. I had to take the guage cluster out to get to it. It works though. Thanks for your information. The only thing I have to do now is get a resistor for the front parking/blinker lights because the double intensity LED I tried to install blew the parking light circut fuze. They sell the resistors at that site I posted before. So just to give you heads up, every single product I got from http://www.superbrightleds.com/ was spectacular and perform just as described.

The only thing I cannot figure out now is how to get those rear reading lights out. They're the only halogen bulbs left in my car . I hope somebody figures out how to get them out!

Thanks!!

I hope you just went to pick the bulbs up from Superbright rather than pay for shipping. They are just over in Florissant.

The shipping was only 5 bucks for all the bulbs. I didn't even know they were in STL lol. I'll have to swing by there sometime. I think my next lighting project will be LED strips in the foot wells. I know there's a DYI on this forum about that, but I found that it was way more complicated than it needs to be.

I wish it wasn't so complicated to get those ugly amber side-marker/reflectors out of the headlight units. I'm too lazy to take the assembly's out.

Any word on how to get those rear reading lights out?

It's thunderstorming like crazy right now. I'll take pictures as soon as it's dark/not raining. Actually, it might just be easier for me to take a vid and post it on youtube. Either way I'll have it up in the next couple of days.
