Recently bought an 06 Camry LE and noticed today sometimes the steering isn't as smooth and tight to the feel at times when parking lots, is it normal for the steering to feel a bit loose?

Camrys have variable steering which is lighter at low speed. It takes some getting used to. However, there is a problem with many Camrys and Solaras concerning the intermediate shaft in the steering column. Some of them have a knocking or rubbing sound as you turn the wheel. Toyota has issued a number of Technical Service Bulletins about it. Check with your Toyota dealer to see if your car is involved in those TSBs. Not all of them are. Good luck. Hy
