Special thanks to LNGasMan with his detail step by step DIY pictures.
And thanks for all the TN members with the great contribution and information in this forum.
My result isn't that perfect, but it's good enough for me and i'm very happy with it

I don't think my cut off are that great... cuz i sort of massed up a bit while waiting for the J.B Weld to dry.. one of the metal plate actual fall off, so I have to re-glue it...

Congrat, nice job

I have a gen 5.5 camry, and as far as i know the projector is different between gen 5.5 and 6.

Anybody think cover a squirrel spotter method would work for a gen 5.5 too ?

Thank you for any input,

Gen5, 5.5 do NOT have projectors........you have to do a retrofit to get projectors...they have hallogen reflector housings.

Thank you for your replied.

Retrofit is the only way to go if I'd like to install HID ?

Is there another way around since I don't think I'll able to make that far with the retrofit.

Thanks,

no other way, unless you want to blind on coming traffic, and get pulled over by the cops for having a major glare problem.

Nice idea to use the cutouts from an old PC rear panel....these are nice and thick, not like Soda cans. Props for that!!

Thanks with all the comments guys
I really have to say that those VGA port and COM2 port metal plates are perfect for the squirrel spotters. Highly recommanded
There are some lights escape on the passenger side head light, I will use some J.B Weld to patch it up a bit when I have time.

Did you have to remove the headlight assembly?

or you were able to modify while bolted on.
