Problems with Lighting *PLZ HELP*

Well i guess this all started when i decided to be a cheap/impatient person and bought myself 8000k BULBS which burn to kelvin friggin temperatures for no apparent reason.. One night the bulb accidently fell out of its socket and started slowly burning the wires connected to the headlight..Now the burns arent serious because the headlight still works.. its just now one side is brighter than the other and i installed a pair of 300 dollar HID kits and their all cockeyed =(

Can someone guide me toward the right path towards getting this irritating problem fixed..

With all the info/DIY on this forum, the internet in general and manufacturers instructions and to have the problems you have, I would say find a knowledgable mechanic/mechanical person to work on them.

A pair of HID kits???????

^ I agree. I personally don't like HID kits for Fog lights. I always get blinded by them and I hate that. Forces me to put on my stunna shades on at night

I did burn my head light socket + wire on my previous car before when I use the high wattage halogen bulbs, I am not sure if that's the similer case as yours.

What I did was...

1. Buy a new socket from NAPA
2. Cut off the burn wire and scokets
3. Re-attached the new socket with the stock wire on the car
4. Spent $30 to get a set of high temperature relay wire.
5. Put a new set of High wattage Halogen bulbs on

Never have any burn socket/wire problem after that
