10K Miles worth of Bug Guts!

What's the best cleaner to get rid of them without leaving those swirly scratch lines in the paint?

after a good rain storm, all bug guts just come off pretty easily. You can do the same by covering the bumper with a wet towel and spraying it with water once in a while for an hour. Then just water you car as normal.

I don't know about the 10,000 mile cleaning interval....

I wash mine weekly and wax every 3-4 months.

. I wash mine weekly too. But after 10K, the front bumper is getting difficult to get back to showroom floor clean. Sponge and water just isn't doing the trick anymore.

I wet the car and then use a wet terrycloth towel and a bit of elbow grease. That way you do not have to rewax when done. I clean the bugs off as soon as I can when I come back from a road trip. I'm really anal about that. As bugs decay, they seem to turn in to an acid-like substance that can harm the paint, if left on there too long.

3m makes a clear mask for the front of the car that is applied by a pro, or by you if you are brave. If your paint is still in good shape it might be worth it to you and help you solve your bug carcass problems.

no you can park the Camry in the garage under a cover and never drive it, and then you wont have to worry about bugs or clear bras.
