V6 with Magnaflow but w/o resonator?

Did anybody have seen someone doing that or heard how that sounds - a v6 with a magnaflow straight through design muffler pair but with the resonator removed? Really loud and raspy or just a little louder ?

I'm going to do it to my Gen5 in the fall....it'll be a highflow Magnaflow cat, with no resonator...

Just one question...i can add a resonator after if it's too loud right?

i have the muffler on my car, just couldn't afford to do the rest of the custom job...but i will get it done in the fall. after i get my rims!

I might do it in the summer. If u do it with flenches, you can install the stock resonator back. I think im gonna remove it first and if its too loud Im gonna purchase a magnaflow resonator.

Just keep the resonator and you can put it back if needed.

I first thought that too, but after talking to some local guys who appear to be pretty on top about that stuff, they mentioned that their will not be much of a difference between the OEM and a Magnaflow resonator. They both are straight through with only perforations and fiberglass filling....he offered me to give him the money instead if I really want to get rid of it for no reason . What a nice buddy, hey?

Yeah thats what sum guy at the muffler shop told me about the magnaflow resonator. I've heard a borla exhaust without the resonator n it didn't sound very loud so magnaflow shouldn't be so loud. I guess I will be trying it by June.

i have it! without res and cad, mid range doesnt sound that good, and in the inside, it sounds kind of loud, the tone is quite annoying, now if my gf is in the car or if i'm traveling long distances, i wont rev above 2000 to 2500 rpm
