Please help me figure out a couple of wires from this Radio Wiring Infomation

I'd like to replace the factory radio on a Toyota Camry 2002 LE: These are the three connectors connected to the factory radio, what does this one on the right do:

This is supposedly the wiring diagram:

...and these are the actual colors. What is the white/green striped small wire for? (2002 LE has no factory amp)

I figure the rest to be:

• Yellow: Left Rear -
• Black: Left Rear +

• White: Right Rear -
• Red: Right Rear +

These are the actual colors on the other one:

I figure them to be:

• Purple: Left Front -
• Redish (next to green): Left Front +

• Blue: Right Front -
• Green: Right Front +

• Gray: Radio Ignition

• Yellow/blue stripes: Radio 12V

• Brown: Radio Ground

• Small green wire: Radio Illumination

Oh OK, thanks for that.

As for the other pics, there are 13 wires in the supposed wiring diagram. I think I figured out 12 but not the white/green striped small wire. The only 13th wire left in the diagram is the factory amp turn on and it says it is pink/blue so it can't be my small green wire especially since there is no amp in the LE version.

I will be installing an amp, so that's why I'm asking...

dont cut any of those wires.. go to your local best buy or circuit city or where ever you bought/planning to buy your headunit and pick up the proper wiring harness. The wiring harness will plug into those harnesses and give you bare wire that is color coded to work with and connect to the headunit wires.

yes never cut your factory harness. Like the poster above me said. Go to your local cc, best buy and get a harness for the camry. it will be a plug and play thing, and you just match the wires from the harness with the wires from the radio.
