Ticking Noise

just had our 2004 Camry LE I-4 with 23,000 miles repaired for a leaking timing chain tensioner gasket.

Now I'm hearing and also feeling a ticking sound (two to three times a second) coming from the tube thay exists out of the air filter box and going into the engine. I can also feel it if I place my hand on the tube.

Is this normal and just something I never noticed before, or do I need to return it to the dealership?

If the dealer did the work, then take it back and have them check it. What you describe sounds a bit like a valve clicking but it could be something else, and I have no idea why it would be noisey now and not before. In any event, let them take a look at it.

If it is the tube that goes to the pcv valve then it is normal. Otherwise take it back.
