ok so on my accord i used to have some LED's where the pedals and all that is. the foot area like some of you do. well i had it running on a switch and i TOTALLY forgot how to wire them up. my friend taught me but forgot. so on the switch, there is 3 parts to it. one labels ACC, power and ground. first i wanna know wat ACC stands for and wat it is. i think i have an idea of how to wire things. up. just need a quick refresh.
hmm so lemme try to figure this out someone confirm please. from the led there are 2 wires which is a ground and power correct? so connect the red(which is power) to where it labels power on the switch and black(which is the ground) to wher eit says ground on the switch. then get some extra wire and connect the wire to where it says ACC on the switch to my ACC fuse? is that right? or am i gonna fry my whole electrical wiring... haha
also where is the flasher unit located on the 6th gen? i have some LED blinkers in the tail and i would like to fix the hyper flashing.
When I used a switch in my truck a while back here is how I wired it...
The ACC went to the power of whatever you are trying to do and one of the other prongs I just used as a ground. The 3rd prong was not used for anything.
This might not be much of a help, but that is my only experience with a switch.

If you want those LED's to turn on with your dome light when you enter/exit the car, all you have to do is wire them directly to your dome light fuze or some other door triggered fuze.

2x. That way you don't have to worry about the hassle of a switch.
But I assume you would like to control when the lights turn on and off with the switch you speak of. In that case, just use one prong for power, one prong for ground and keep the other prong open.

so i showed use the prong labelled acc? im assuming they made it 3 prongs because just in case i forget o switch it off, with the wire connected from the ACC prong on the siwtch to the ACC fuse or watnot, the lights would still turn off? anyways i'll figure something out this wekend and a possible DIY just for the hell of it. i'll update you guys by this weekend on how everything goes.

wire "ground" to ground. wire "power" to a 12V source (i.e. post-fuse positive/hot of CIG circuit or the positive/hot of DOME circuit). wire "ACC" to the positive of your accessory (the leds or whatnot). wire the "negative" or "ground" of your accessory to ground.
remember to disconnect negative terminal of battery before doing this.
