Do you need help with a diagnosis? If so, read this first.
Sorry, I've deleted the information due to Tobeit and Loomps.
If you would like some help just PM Tobeit or Loomps. Apparently they think that posting information to help others is a rant and just want to ruin a helpful thread.
There are all kinds out there, that's for sure.
Thanks for the helpful replies by the others though.
This is a great way to help others. If I may add to the list then I would say make a video clip if you can. For instance, I used to have a flickering noise when I turned on my headlight. I made a video and posted here, it turned out it was the aftermarket amplifier that I installed. So video clips helped a lot.
I vote for this thread to be sticky!

great thread TRD
this should be very helpful in aiding diagnosis of problems here....its real hard to help someone who says "my camry is making a squeaking noise" or gives some sort of vague description
Guys, its an open forum - people can and will keep posting what they feel like no matter what you do here.
You're right. Most times people don't give out enough information. It's not because they don't want to, it's because they don't know that it's needed. If they did, they would probably be able to fix their car themselves.

Rant?
This thread was made to HELP people out.
You're the only one that's ranting. You and Loomp have successfully made the only shit posts in this thread. Congrats, you've failed to provide any useful information and instead you posted to complain. You're the one that shouldn't have responded.
Thanks for the help of everyone else and keep the good ideas coming. I know that there are more out there.
You are a piece of work man. Obviously, you feel I talked about you for a reason w/o mentioning you...wonder why. I did not complain but simply pointed out that I do not believe anything will change and any post on a open forum is legit.
I can link some posts of threads where people ask short, not so precise or accurate questions and a long thread followed not about the question but about the way it was asked etc etc.
I am done with that thread, obviously you only like your opinion - well done.
I don't know what's prompted you to start one of your rants in a thread that you obviously don't care about...
Hopefully a Mod will delete your posts. Your ruining the purpose of this thread.

Hmmmm....
Alright tuff guy, right now, I do wish I could think of something constructive to add to your list above. I really do. I don't think your post is a rant. I was mistake in agreeing with Tobiet on that point. I also think that my agreeing with Tobiet was not constructive to your post. But...
I don't make "shit posts" any more than you do, and I promise, from now on, that I will not fail to provide any useful information and I will not post simply to complain.
CAN YOU MAKE MAKE THAT SAME PROMISE?
They are your words.

You can always count on one or two tools to ghey up a thread.
It sure is a disappointment to deal with you and Tobiet in a thread that was made to be helpful. It would be great of both of you would just delete your replies. They're not needed.
Well, lets hope that the new users search first incl the sticky notes, something often not working well, to find this thread for instruction how to post questions before doing it.

I am the one that is dissapointed here. I thought you would have had more respect of your fellow TN member... but your language speaks volumes of your character. Your knowledge of Toyota products seems to be vast and wide, but your communication skills are quite the opposite. That being said, I respect your point of view and will delete my first reply upon your request.

Try to cheer up TRD. Your unhappy agressive nature is unbecomming of you. Maybe it's due to your illness? I don't know.
Let's try to put this behind us - what do ya' say?
I do hope this does become a 'sticky' minus the bickering. Could I suggest something to add to your list. Would adding the build location ie. Japan/USA be a usefull tool in tracking problems should there be some regional issues?
