Need Help Quick

so im in the process of changing my stock headunit to aftermarket. i have a gen 6 camry se and i cant get the ac control thing off of the radio. any inputs? how do i seperate the two? i took of the screws on the metal holder thing on each soide but they seem to be stuck still.

yeah i was being lazy and didnt take off ALL the screws. i thought they were the only thing that was holding the two together but apparently wasnt. thankss anyways. got my aftermarket unit in but no dash kit . i had nothing to do today so i thought i would just get the wiring all done. yes i know easier for theifs to jack me, but im not going anywhere where that would be a risk.

^instead of taking the faceplate with you... take the whole unit . honestly tho if you park your car outside take the unit! anyways what unit do you have? im guessing a indash? since it would look pretty weird with a single din cd player

i have a single din pioneer 7800mp. it'll look very plain once my dash kit comes in but i cant stand stock radio quality with subs maybe in the future i'll upgrade. and about parking outside and stuff, i garage my car. i'm just afraid at school tomorrow... im there for 1 hour but who know's wat'll happen in that time frame. haha. maybe i shouldnt go.
