I am having a hard time deciding on coilovers...ksport or Megan.
Here's the deal, I got a partial sponsorship through Ksport, so I'm leaning that way. I haven't accepted yet, and I also sent in a proposal to Megan Racing.
All that aside, is there a better choice? Anyone have one or the other? What do you like? What dont you like? gimme some hard facts here...I'm about to drop coin on coilovers...
..I mean, is it going to be that awesome, or should I just get som H&R's and call it a day? The coilovers are a simple swap (entire assembly, more money, but more adjustment.)
BTW, Gen6 SE V6...in case you're wondering.
...since someone is going to ask me the "How'd you get sponsored, can you help me" questions...If I get some time, I'll help. Easy answer, I've built a ton of magazine cars and I have contacts.

...and i'm 30, I have a baby, and I sell Toyotas; hence a Camry. I'm growing up -just not dead. so i want to add some of my own touches and not go over the top. I've retired.

...sounds like a good plan and decisions. I just asked because I always imagined that the guys building this car magazine show rides can't live without having one in their garage. Well, you can!
yeah i heard a lot of good things about megan over ksport. i just got a hook up from a shop of mine. he said he has a guy who can do 800 out the door for the megans. thats the best price i got so far so im gonna talk to him and see wat i can do.
yes the megans allow you to lower the stroke of the shock. you have two locations which can help you lower your car, shortening spring travel, which is a no-no for me, and one is lowering the shock mount.
Honestly, the only reason I went with KSport coilovers is to match their BBK lol. Personally, I think you can't go wrong either way since both are reputable name brands in the suspension industry.
