TYC filters

I bought a Suzuki cabin air filter off ebay and it would not fit in the filter housing. The OEM filter is held in place by slots and tabs. TYC attempted to eliminate the tabs and slots and substitute a cloth seal around the filter, however they made the filter the same OD as the OEM filter without allowance for the tabs inside the filter housing, therefore it will not fit into the housing (it's too long). Also compared to the OEM filter it's cheaply made (that's why it costs 1/3 as much - duh!) but I can't speak to performance of course however I'm very skeptical that it will not leak air around the sides of the filter thereby rendering it marginaly effective for it's purpose.
