Getting a replacement car, help me choose

I recently signed a new 2008 Camry SE I4 with the leather/sunroof package

Due to transmission problems, the dealer has agreed to exchange the car for an identical 2009 model.

OR

I can choose to get 2009 SE V6 with no leather, but I think sunroof is standard on this model.

So it basically comes down to leather vs the V6. For the SE V6 with leather I'd have to shell out more cash, which I do not have.

In all honesty, the I4 was fine for my city driving, but after having traded in a 2003 Acura TL Type S I quickly found I was missing the V6 power, but I also like the leather. I am leaning towards the V6 with no leather....because I'll probably miss the V6 more than leather.

If in my shoes, which car would you go for?

Personally, I don't like leather so I say go with the 6.

Go with the SE V6 no leather. The SE has nice fabric seats. You'll regret getting another I4.

I traded my 07 I4 for an 09 V6. You'll love the extra 110 hp!! What a difference! The V6 with the 6 speed is quieter, smoother and hauls ass!

You can always upgrade the leather later, but not the V6. I went this route and the letter I got is better quality than OEM (IMO).

I traded my '07 I4 for an '07 V6. I'm averaging 27MPG on the V6. I averaged 29MPG on the I4. It's worth the 2MPG penalty for the V6.

Where did you do that - local upholstery, aftermarket kit....? I agree, it does not take too much to get better aftermarket leather seats - in particular for the CE/LE/XLE.

They didn't offer the hybrid at all? ...I mean if you're going to have a choice of 2 engines, why not 3?

I agree. I test drove the V6 first and I4 and the V6 won hands down. Smooth ride and hauls ass as mentioned above.
