5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I just washed and waxed the Camry today and figured I would share a few pics! I think my next mod will probably be a new grille. Let me know what you think!
Nice choice of rims (spec and type). Not feeling the body side moldings too much - I know they can come in handy in parking lots.
How they come in handy in parking lots? When people open doors, the top of someone elses door that sticks out hits your door around the same height as the door handles.

I think its the tints all around that makes it dark. Isnt it illegal everywhere to have front windows tinted? Cops dont even have it on their cars.

I forgot to update my location to FL! Anyway, the windshield has 30 or 35% tint on it, and the rest is 15%. Yes it is illegal, just like most aftermarket tint you put on your car. In FL you can have 15% on the rear windows and 30% on the front driver/passenger.

Well, they do not protect from everything...but in many occasions dings come from the the other cars driver door ...driver/front doors are often more flat and the moldings could help. Did not say it's bulletproof.
...btw, I try to park on larger spots or further away from the crowd.
