my other baby got hurt.

well today my mom was driving on the freeway and hit a 'tire' (thing thats left when you blow your tires) and this what happens.

i know some people say its not much, but we just can't stand seeing the car like that

and yes it came off too so we just taped it for the meantime.

anyone know of a body shop in Socal? preferrably around the Inland Empire area. i need to call for estimates so if you have a contact number, appreciate it.

you got lucky. she couldn't swerve because she was driving on the part of the freeway with only 2 lanes here so its either hitting the thing or hit someone else. at least yours is not that noticeable. her damage is from the crack all the way to the side like you could see on the pic.

i can't interpret the first pic... could you give a description of the damage, and location of the crack? in this case the picture is not worth a thousand words...

Much better... it's an easy fix... just plastic weld it together, lightly sand and touch up

if you glue it back on, it's look clean.. more like a hairline crack that is not noticable

That sucks.

I've hit a 5 gallon bucket and a turkey with my Formula. Both times it wrecked the front bumper cover.

You can plastic weld that, but I'd just replace it.

+1 replace it. you'll end up just paying for the replacement in the future anyways. why pay for a repair twice?

Buying a new bumper and having it painted would cost a lot of money.

I'd say keep it, but just do a temporary fix with some plastic weld/glue. Then replace the bumper if/when you hit something else.
