Australia Panel gauge fuse blows

Having no cruise control is bad enough, but then you find that the transmission wont stay locked into the lower gears, and oh yeah try going backwards at night and you need to mount a torch on the boot, because the reversing lights go out as well. All of this occured because the vehicle was recalled for an alteration to the headlight switch, a relay was inserted into the circuit. Returning the car to the dealer they found the panel gauge fuse, (10A) was blown and blamed my mobile phone charger unit. I forgot to tell them that we dont use it, except in emergencies. A new fuse was fitted at no cost and all is well, for 24 hrs anyway then all the problems return. Checked both cigarette lighter plugs for metal fragments and also amp tested the fuse holder myself, satisfied installed yet another 10A fuse. Wonder how long this one will last. No vehicle alterations at all 2003 4cyl, auto. Mike.
